Forward Sailing now offers you a simple and efficient trick to make you want to play with the tension of your battens again!

Forward Sailing has just developed the very first screw tensioner with a tension mark, compatible with old generation sails with tensioners!

It's very simple: instead of blocking the tensioner in a textile reinforcement inside the batten sleeve, we use the garcette and the eyelets already present on the sail to hook the tensioner by its hollow ends, to wrap the batten and its end cap. Thus, thanks to an Allen key, these tensioners will allow micrometric adjustments of batten tension, while remaining simple to set up and very efficient.
